TERA Textline Terms and Conditions

To text a TERA Peer Educator or Advocate, follow these steps:

1. Text your question or concern to 720.340.8372
2. You will receive a confirmation text with 2 hours referring you to the Textline Terms and Conditions webpage.
3. You will get a response to your question or concern within the same 2 hours.
4. Text in your messages whenever you have them! Standard text messaging rates apply.
5. The TERA Textline only responds to texts between the hours of 6am and 10pm, however, you may text at any time.
6. In an emergency, always call 911.

The TERA Textline is confidential and anonymous, with the following exceptions:

• Your phone number will be visible to Textline Peer Advocates.
• Disclosures of child abuse, threats to harm self or threats to harm others will be reported to the proper authorities (e.g. child protection, law enforcement).

The TERA Texline Advocates are teen volunteers and occasionally adult advocates. Answers to questions and concerns via the TERA Textline are based on advocates’ knowledge of dating and domestic abuse, as well as personal opinions. Please do not limit your search for answers and advice to the TERA Textline. This website, as well as countless others, offers even more information and guidance.

Please be respectful of the TERA Textline, the TERA Peer and Adult Advocates and their time. The TERA Texline reserves the right to block any cell phone number that misuses its services.
